PROJECTS
EnerTech Services
has been very active in the energy field. We have worked directly
with electric utilities, research companies, state agencies, and private
industry to help promote the advancement of energy efficient technology.
Kirtland Air Force Base
Albuquerque, NM
EnerTech Services
worked with Honeywell engineers to provide Base Civil Engineering
with the necessary calculations and confidence to authorize the go
ahead on the Central Steam Plant decommissioning project. The Base
personnel were very pleased with our contribution to this project.
Numbers come from numbers. We were able to show them how and why the
energy reduction would occur just as the Honeywell engineers projected.
Mountain Home Air Force Base
Mountain Home, Idaho
EnerTech Services
teamed with Honeywell to develop a Performance Contract that would
generate savings of over $1,000,000 annually. This project consisted
of lighting, fuel source conversions, high efficient boiler installations,
and the elimination of the central hot water boiler plant. The results
of this project will help the Base meet the objectives of the Energy
Policy Act ’92 and Executive Order 13123.
Mt. Wheeler Power
Ely, Nevada
EnerTech Services
has completed a number of energy modeling analyses for Mt. Wheeler
Power. These models included an analysis of building envelopes, HVAC
equipment, lighting, and other energy savings measures. If all recommended
measures were to be installed there would be enough energy savings
to provide conditioning for an additional 100,000 square feet of commercial
buildings.
Idaho Power Company
Boise, Idaho
EnerTech Services
performs energy audits for commercial customers of Idaho Power in
their Oregon service territory. These audits are in response to Oregon
Senate Bill 111. Over the last three years over 40 audits have been
performed.
Ecotope

EnerTech Services
performed an energy review of design and construction practices in
Idaho by reviewing 50 recently constructed buildings. The project
entails plan reviews, interviews with designers and site visits to
verify design specifications.
