Michael E.
Rohm C.E.M. Michael began his career within the utility environment in 1976 as a junior accountant for Idaho Power Company. In 1977, Michael moved over to the Energy Services Department. Over the years Michael held a number of positions within this working group including Residential Representative, Commercial Representative, and Major Account Consultant. In August of 1998, Michael left Idaho Power Company to form EnerTech Services. Mike has assembled a team of professionals dedicated to promoting the wise use of all fuel sources. Michael holds a Bachelor's of Art Degree in Economics from Boise State University.
John Wennstrom
P.E. John began work with Idaho Power Company in 1978 in the Distribution Department. In 1981 he moved into the Energy Services Department. His expertise is in energy conservation and renewable energy technologies including solar photovoltaic and solar thermal applications. John was instrumental in the development of conservation and power quality programs while at the utility. This included facilitating technical training for licensed electricians. John is a member of the IEEE and the American Solar Energy Society. He is currently working with the State Department of Water Resources Energy Division on the development of the State Solar Initiative and securing federal grants to provide consumer education and technical training classes in Idaho. John received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Idaho and currently holds a professional engineering license in the State of Idaho.
Kent Butler Mr. Butler is a specialist in the effective and efficient use of energy. Joining Idaho Power Company in 1970, he gained expertise in residential and commercial marketing with an emphasis on energy conservation. Between 1986 and 1998 Kent directed the implementation of several successful residential conservation programs. Among these were Good Cents®, for site built homes, and the Manufacturers' Acquisition Program for manufactured housing. Throughout Kent's career he has worked hand-in-hand with many governmental and regulatory agencies. His unique ability to work with all concerned parties to obtain the optimum solutions has been an asset to the industry. Kent holds a BA in Social and Industrial Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Boise State University.
Carter has conducted field investigations, facility assessments and energy audits for many of his clients. Included in these services are engineering analysis and energy studies for life cycle costing. Carter has also prepared plans, specifications, and bid documents for numerous projects. Carter received his BSME from Auburn University in 1979. Tim Clemens Tim started his career in the
electric utility industry in 1972 as a Residential Salesmen in Hailey,
Idaho. Career changes brought
Tim to Boise where he was soon promoted to Commercial Sales Representative
working with builders; engineering firms, and architects.
Mr. Clemens left the utility in 2001 after 30
years of distinguished service. At the time of his retirement Tim
had held positions of Major Account Consultant, Energy Marketer, and
Account Manager. Tim’s career has given him an
in-depth knowledge of the gas and electric industry as well as all aspects
of energy conservation. Tim is a past President of the
Idaho Chapter of ASHRAE and certified in the State of Idaho as an Energy
Auditor.
